WHO WE ARE

Walker Ag Lab opened its beakers in 2000 in an effort to better serve the cottonseed industry in Arizona.

We are proud to be state-certified for over 15 years by the Arizona Department of Agriculture!

HISTORY

Our chemist, Warren "Butch" Truman, has over 30 years of experience in Chromatography. Butch and his team of lab technicians have been with us since day one. His background comes from decades with the Chickasha Cotton Oil Mill off the old Gila Bend Hwy.

Walker Ag Lab continues onto the next generation. James Walker continues to offer the same great service you've come to know and expect. Aflatoxin results and certificates are still available (in most cases) next-day via email to our customers.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology is always advancing and so is Walker Ag Lab. In 2013, our Lab upgraded analysis equipment to High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (aka HPLC) to give our customers the most scientific and accurate results possible.

PROFICIENCY

Walker Ag Lab lives for proficiency. We participate in multiple quality control programs including the Arizona Department of Agriculture Aflatoxin Certification Program and the AOCS Laboratory Proficiency Program (LPP), formerly the Smalley Check Sample Program. The LLP is the world's most extensive and respected collaborative proficiency testing program for oil- and fat-related commodities, oilseeds, oilseed meals, and edible fats. More than 500 chemists participate to verify their lab’s quality control.
